At the In-Service day last May, we talked about pedestals and which ones to use when displaying flowers at the statue of Our Blessed Mother. In our meetings, we often discuss how important it is to place arrangements that adorn this statue on pedestals instead of the floor. In case you are wondering which pedestals to use, I have taken some pictures of them and I will list their use from my notes on the In-Service day.
The pedestals come in pairs and they are stored in the alcove at the back of the candle room (where the music stands are). If they are not there, they will be in the closet where other urns and supplies are kept.
The tallest pedestal [pair] is best for use in displaying matching arrangements on either side of Our Blessed Mother. This pedestal [pair] looks like this:

The next size pedestal is very close in size to the tallest. It can also be used for displaying matching arrangements on either side of the statue. This pedestal is more ornate and just slightly shorter. It can also be used to display a relatively smaller arrangement in front of the statue. Here is a picture of the pedestal:

The last pedestal is the shortest. It is best used for displaying a relatively large arrangement in front of the statue of Our Blessed Mother so that worshipers can still see the statue. And here is a picture of the last pedestal:

I hope this is helpful. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask.
